We opted for the deluxe package, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was divine, living up to the mouthwatering menu they offered. But what truly amazed us were the mattresses - thick and plush, providing the most comfortable sleep we've ever had on a hiking trip. Yannick Trekker truly knows how to cater to their customers' comfort. The tent sites were carefully chosen, and we were rewarded with a breathtaking green curry sunset dinner overlooking the stunning crater rim - an experience that left other hikers envious of our spot.
Hiking Rinjani is undoubtedly challenging, but our Guide, Wan , was the perfect motivator. He expertly led us through the trek, keeping our spirits high and ensuring we reached our destinations with enthusiasm.
What sets Yannick Trekker apart and made us truly appreciate their service was learning about their dedication to preserving the environment. As the only agency that pays porters extra to collect additional trash left behind by other hikers, they demonstrated a genuine commitment to keeping the mountain clean and pristine. While their services might be slightly more expensive than other agencies, every dollar spent is worth it, knowing that we are contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful natural environment.
We even wished we could pay other agencies' porters to do the same!
Aside from the trek itself, Yannick Trekker made our entire journey comfortable and convenient. They provided us with a lovely hotel to stay in before and after the hike, ensuring a relaxing end-to-end experience. Furthermore, they went above and beyond by arranging a last-minute boat from Bali and organizing our car pick-up from the boat, making the entire trip seamless.
