点评：Wailoaloa Beach sits just behind a row of resorts in Nadi and, while many tourists wander through from their accommodation, it’s very much a local beach at heart. If you’re expecting white sand and crystal‑clear water, this isn’t that kind of Fiji beach — it’s almost the opposite. But it still has its own charm.
We spent a good hour walking the shoreline and collecting shells, and honestly, the beach is full of them. If you enjoy a simple, peaceful wander, this is a lovely spot for it.
You can swim here, and many locals do — especially after school when the beach becomes lively with families and kids cooling off. In the afternoons you may also see horses along the sand, with casual rides available, which adds a fun touch to the experience.
Even though it’s a local beach, the nearby resorts are welcoming. You can usually pop into their beachfront decks for a meal or a drink at any time, which makes the area feel relaxed and easy to enjoy.
Wailoaloa isn’t the picture‑perfect Fiji postcard, but it offers a real, everyday slice of local life, and we enjoyed our time here for exactly that reason.
