Crammed in like sardines
安菲尔德球场的点评
点评：Was there last night for the Springsteen gig for my hubby , the first thing clearly noticeable is seating space , there is literally no room for your knees , im only short at 5'4 but my shins were against the seat in front ( Kenny dalgleish stand) once people were sat in them you ended up with your knees in their backs as there is nowhere to put them , impossible to sit side on as you are very cosy with the next seat, don't recall it being like that at Wembley stadium ?
Hubby said he would never return there for a gig and while Bruce was fantastic the evening was ruined , one by the seating and secondly the constant mexican wave due to the people next to us getting up and down throughout to go to the bar , the woman was bladdered and almost sent my hubby flying at one point , as there really isn't room for people to be passing especially if they are wider than a twiglet , I get folk are there to enjoy themselves but people excessively drinking , and they are older folk too and then flailing their arms around with multiple bottles in their hands and narrowly missing others heads is not good.
One other thing we noticed is the amount of people rolling cigarettes in the standing area and smoking and the amount of people vaping throughout , I thought stadiums were supposed to be smoke free ?
Stewards stood right by these people and said nothing.
Was at 3 arena gigs in the last month and didn't see the same amount of drunk folk and having to avoid flaling limbs 🤣
Getting in was fine and using the toilet although we left a few minutes before the gig ended and then queues were starting to build
