Masungi Georeserve的点评
点评：Masungi Georeserve is a well-preserved conservation area in Rizal with a powerful story behind it. We joined a joiners tour with around 14 people, and the experience was definitely worth waking up early for.
There are plenty of scenic views along the trail, though it felt more paved compared to other mountains in Rizal. The numerous rope courses, rest stops, and alternative routes make the trail suitable for a wide age range -- we saw groups with both children and seniors. This level of development also means the area is very well maintained; there was no trash anywhere.
One thing to note is that the trail isn’t exactly size-friendly, as some sections require passing through narrow pathways and crouching. Still, hearing the history and advocacy of Masungi through our ranger, AJ, made the experience even more meaningful. While their rule encourages the use of the mother tongue, he spoke in English to accommodate non-Tagalog speakers, ensuring everyone could fully understand and appreciate the advocacy.
The end-of-trail snacks were delicious, especially the refreshing calamansi juice, and the restrooms were impressively clean for a mountain trail. Knowing that our visit supports a meaningful conservation cause made us appreciate Masungi Georeserve even more. Overall, it’s a great experience and an excellent option for team-building activities.
