Joce was very easy-going and flexible, not only tailoring the itinerary to our requirements, but also helping us with day-to-day requests. He helped us plan the tour in advance, listening to our wishes, but also giving advice about what was realistically possible in the given timeframe.
Our focus was on seeing as much wildlife as possible, and boy did we see a lot. 13 different types of Lemur, for example!
With years of driving and tourism experience, we benefitted with a smooth, safe, clean and comfortable tour, knowing what to expect at each step. The accommodation arranged for us was very comfortable and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the restaurants we visited, sampling local dishes without concern for tummy trouble.
Every guide arranged by Joce for the National Parks, nature reserves, etc was very knowledgeable, with great English.
He responds very quickly to e-mails, which is always super helpful.
He knows all the safe places (seemingly in every city!!!) to, for example, withdraw money from an ATM. Or which villages have a market on which day of the week, and so on.
He has very good English, and obviously excellent French too.
We can not recommend Joce and Explo Tour highly enough.
