smartrider system is absolutely awful and humiliating and stuck in the stone age

点评：I absolutely hate this piece of s**t company!!!!!!!!!! the smartrider and autoload systems are massively stupid and inefficient.
If you have autoload enabled, and it tries to charge your card but there isn't enough money in your account at the time, it deletes your autoload setup so you have to go into your account and enter your bank details and everything all over again.
and once you set up autoload, you have a stupidly specific amount of time in which to enable it: more than 24 hours but less than 5 days. if you miss that window, you have to do all the online registration again.
you also can't register for a concession card online -- you have to go to a transperth office (there are only about three in the entire city of perth) and fill out a paper form.
it is so embarrassing and clearly multiple decades out of date. It's lagging massively behind every other Australian city. what a f**king disgrace
