Cave Hollow West Winery的点评
点评：Cave Hollow Winery was on my list to vsist, but I didnt realize it was at the same location as the cave. When we got into town, we headed to the cave but didn't have enough time to go in, so we headed over to the winery for 45 minutes.
The inside is quite spacious and plenty of place to lounge while having a glass, flight or bottle of wine. They also have an outdoor area with umbrella tables, firepit and what looks like a stage for live entertainment.
Paige was extremely helpful with our wine tasting and also some good local things to try.
Our Wine tasting notes:
Mark Twain: one of the dry reds, but smooth and fruity. Could be dangerous. Would be good with spicy food.
Hometown: definitely dryer with slight fruit flavor. Not too bold or strong.
Roundhouse: Not from this winery.. Definitely dried out the tounge and more fruity on the back. Strong bold flavor on first sip. After the 3rd it went down very smooth. Would be great with beef for sure.
Mischief: Peppery smell, but a surprise that is doesn’t seem as dry as the last two. Seems more tart than the others. Very yummy.
